New BMW K1200GT Mounting System

(Oakland, FL) TechMount has introduced an addition to the 2008 line: a mounting system for the BMW K1200GT.
The new mount provides a secure, central-mounting handlebar location that positions accessories for easy visibility, whether a GPS, satellite radio, video recorder, cell-phone, PDA , toll-transponder, or other technology-accessory. Replacement shafts are also available to change the mounting-plate height, and there is also a double-top-plate kit to mount two different accessories side by side.
What’s more, the TechMount unit won’t interfere with the GT’s adjustable handlebars. It remains in a fixed position regardless of the handlebar adjustment.
CNC-machined from 6061 Aluminum billet, then anodized to protect it from the elements, the new TechMount K1200GT mount beautifully matches the bike’s fit and finish. Simple installation with the tools provided.
TechMount systems hold 13 U.S. and international patents, and are all designed and manufactured in Florida, the U.S. The new TechMount mounting system is compatible with all TechMount accessories. Suggested retail: $89.95, considerably less than would be expected for a product of this quality and construction. Units for other bike and ATV applications range from $59.95 to $94.95.
